At Sure Werx we are growing and are creating a new team of talented end‑user focused Strategic Account Executives with proven track records building profitable relationships with fortune 500 type accounts. This role is responsible for the creation of new market share growth pursuing fortune 500 companies. Candidates with a strong background in Fall Protection and PPE Safety will represent our entire solutions and service portfolio and personally contact and secure profitable new business with target accounts through relationships at multiple levels, including C level executives, safety directors and managers, plant directors, procurement and distribution channel partners as required.

This role will manage all aspects of assigned accounts within their portfolio, including but not limited to strategic account planning and execution, target account qualification, relationship building, opportunity identification; pipeline and opportunity management, leveraging internal resources, distributor coordination, CRM tracking and follow up; customer issue resolution relating to service and other issues to ensure a high level of post‑sales satisfaction and facilitate long‑term relationships with strong potential for repeat business.

The ideal candidate is located in preferred city locations of Metro NYC Market, DC and Northern Virginia and/or nearby areas.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience delivering Fall Protection Competent Person training and providing consultative fall protection solutions to customers across a variety of industries. This individual must possess extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and fall protection standards, along with substantial field experience identifying hazards, evaluating risks, and implementing corrective actions.

The successful candidate will be confident leading both Competent Person and Train‑the‑Trainer courses, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences. Strong presentation, relationship‑building, and solution‑selling skills are essential.

This position reports to the Director of Strategic Accounts and partners with the Regional Sales Managers to support our local execution strategies and company goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive market growth utilizing vertical expertise, strategic account planning, consultative selling skills, strong relationships, structured marketing sales plans within assigned vertical market and targeted end user accounts.
  • Work in partnership with internal Sure Werx resources and distributor partners to create new market share through new customer creation, the addition of new addresses, while fully penetrating our breadth of product offerings within the market.
  • Develop and maintain marketing and account penetration plans to identify and monitor opportunities. Plans include but are not limited to customer parent‑child relationships, assessment of current state of account; competition within the account; key decision makers; budgeting; funding sources; issues/pain points; current solutions, new product offerings; and action plan to optimize spend potential throughout the assigned accounts.
  • Create and maintain CRM sales pipeline with detailed information as to the number of potential and qualified prospects/opportunities, status and next steps.
