Be the pioneer in the Middle EastWe are building our presence in the Middle East from the ground up and creating a brand‑new Sales team in Dubai. As a founding member of this team, you will play a vital role in establishing DeepL as the go‑to language solution in the region.
Your Responsibilities- Pioneer DeepL's expansion into the Middle East by establishing our presence and introducing our translation service to enterprises across the region.
- Serve as an ambassador for DeepL’s products and a trusted expert on customer needs, building lasting relationships beyond the first sale.
- Qualify and convert leads, manage the entire sales cycle, and help shape the Middle East go‑to‑market strategy.
- Strive to meet and exceed monthly activity, pipeline and revenue goals as we build momentum.
- Build a pipeline of new business from scratch and pursue upselling and cross‑selling opportunities as the customer base grows.
- Respond to inbound prospects, managing the range from qualification to close.
- Forecast and track opportunity and customer details, including use cases and purchase time frames.
- Work closely with our diverse, international teams from SDR to Marketing, contributing insights to inform our expansion strategy.
- Proven experience in Enterprise SaaS sales within the Middle East and a strong understanding of the regional culture and market.
- Experience selling into and expanding large Enterprise accounts and winning new logos.
- Consistently delivering against—and beyond—sales targets.
- A natural collaborator who brings cross‑functional teams together for the customer’s benefit.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, energized by building something new and shaping DeepL’s market entry.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with the ability to shift priorities.
- Based in Dubai with the right to work in the UAE.
- Fluent in English; fluency in Arabic is a strong plus.
