Area Sales Manager (Steam) - Specialty Rental - Mid-Atlantic - Delanco, NJ

As an Area Sales Manager - Steam (Mid-Atlantic Region), your mission is to drive sales growth by leveraging technical expertise and understanding customer needs. You will generate new business, maintain existing base, and maximize customer satisfaction in the boiler rental industry. You report to the Regional Sales Manager and work closely with engineering and product teams to implement sales strategies.

• Expand existing customer base within assigned territory to promote Atlas Copco Specialty Rental Division North America's (SRDNA) boiler rental business.
• Daily calling on regular and prospective customers via phone or traveling throughout the assigned territory for planned visits or cold calling.
• Work closely with technical staff to provide customers with job site assessments, application solutions, equipment sizing, problem resolution and follow‑through.
• Coordinate project specs with internal operational personnel to ensure that project objectives are accomplished in accordance with customer timeline and requirements.
• Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities.
• Prepare accurate and current progress reports for management on the status of all pending opportunities and customer‑related activities.
• In concert with management, develop and achieve an applicable Annual Territory Sales Plan setting KPIs, revenue and market growth targets.
• Organize multiple opportunities and clients concurrently and complete tasks with minimal day‑to‑day direction.
• Act as an active Steam Subject‑Matter Expert and drive revenue growth for Steam in the Mid‑Atlantic region.

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, generators, chillers, boilers, or heat exchangers, with prior experience in a rental/leasing environment.
• Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering or Business (preferred).

This role is mostly remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the Delanco, NJ area while being associated with our customer center in the United States. Occasional trips to the office or meetings with the sales team may be required.
