BSN SPORTS has been the largest team sporting goods equipment and apparel distributor of choice in the United States for over 50 years. This role supports the Heart of the Game by providing excellent service platforms to coaches and administrators.
Job DetailsWork type: Full-time Hybrid - Must live and travel 2-5 days per week in the territory.
Compensation: Base draw $50k-$60k annually plus performance-based incentives. Salary varies based on education, experience, location, equity and market alignment.
Location: Worthington, OH 43085.
Work hours: Hours may vary based on the customer’s needs. Evenings and weekends may be required.
Travel requirement: Mainly local to schools and organizations within the territory (2-5+ days a week) with some out-of-area and overnight travel expected.
Key Responsibilities- Provide consultative customer service to coaches in the assigned territory and make their lives easier.
- Generate revenue and meet sales/growth targets.
- Actively develop and qualify leads within the territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns.
- Handle rejection and persistently turn challenges into opportunities.
- Navigate multiple functions within the company’s CRM to support sales and customer relationship efforts.
- Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all sports at all levels.
- Utilize data-driven business intelligence on prospects to identify new trends and opportunities.
- Manage account list and travel on location within the assigned territory.
- High level of self-direction and autonomy in managing tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and prioritization of tasks to meet deadlines.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM.
- Ability to cultivate a distraction-free home office environment.
- 3+ years B2B outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) or coaching/sports-related background.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
