Job Description

This role will serve the Columbus, Ohio territory. Candidates are required to live within the territory and will be the primary point of contact for Cars Commerce customers, focusing on ongoing customer success, retention, and new business development.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Cars Commerce customers.
  • Sell products and services to existing customers and pursue new customer opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships by visiting assigned customers within the sales territory and responding to client inquiries.
  • Execute sales strategy, identify and close upsell opportunities, and drive new business acquisition.
  • Provide insights to customers by preparing reports and key information that communicate value.
  • Demonstrate expertise in retention and sales techniques and Cars Commerce products and services.
  • Travel by car within the assigned territory to visit existing and prospective customers face‑to‑face.
  • Partner across selling and servicing roles to ensure customers receive maximum value from the Cars Commerce Platform.
Qualifications
  • Excellent planning and solutions selling experience.
  • Motivated and comfortable working remotely and in the field.
  • Ability to conduct in‑depth sales presentations, including product demonstrations that highlight key benefits and ROI.
  • Proven persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in automotive space or digital marketplace is ideal.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship building skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
Requirements
  • 2–5+ years of relevant sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to identify and close sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrated consistent quota attainment track record with a desire to win.
  • Overall experience selling advertising or complex SaaS/software solutions to business leaders.
Compensation and Benefits

In this spirit of pay transparency, the total target compensation (base salary + variable) is $ – $. Compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.
