Account Executive - Major Accounts, Southern

About the Role

Account Executive (AE), Major Accounts at Cars Commerce. Remote‑first role supporting the Enterprise Sales Executive to drive customer success, retention, and account growth.

• Act as primary contact for customers, focusing on remote sales and retention.
• Manage account portfolios and maintain revenue targets across business lines.
• Support sales or referral of Cars Commerce products/services to current customers and new prospects.
• Collaborate with EAE to execute account strategies.
• Prepare reports and audits for assigned accounts, generating insights to inform decisions.
• Identify and assist in upsell opportunities, working with EAE to close deals.
• Demonstrate strong remote sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Travel up to 50% as needed for client visits.

• 3‑5+ years of remote sales experience with proven ability to retain business and identify sales opportunities.
• Experience in remote customer service and solutions‑based selling.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong business acumen, communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills in a remote setting.
• Experience in automotive industry or digital marketplace is a plus.
• Prior experience in advertising, SaaS, or software solutions sales is a plus.

Total Target Compensation: $118,600 – $177,900 (base salary + variable). Competitive base salary aligned to experience and market benchmarks, variable compensation tied to performance metrics, accelerators for exceeding targets, no earning ceiling.
