Cars Commerce is an automotive technology company focused on simplifying car buying and selling across a suite of digital products and services.
Client Partner – Automotive SalesWe are looking for a Client Partner to join our team, focusing on expanding our existing relationships with major automotive manufacturers and their agencies. This consultative role involves acting as a strategic advisor to help clients navigate business challenges and grow market share.
Key Responsibilities- Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high‑value automotive accounts, fostering and expanding relationships with senior leaders across Marketing, Product, and Finance.
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute account plans to identify and secure new opportunities across our full range of solutions, including media investments, paid content partnerships, data and business intelligence, and enterprise software integrations.
- Client Consultation: Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client business challenges and recommending value‑driving solutions that help them achieve market‑share goals.
- Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Partner with internal Client Solutions Managers, product and marketing teams to ensure seamless day‑to‑day operations and client satisfaction. - Travel: Prepare to travel each quarter for in‑person meetings at client offices, media agencies, and our headquarters; maintain a cadence of monthly virtual or face‑to‑face check‑ins.
- Proven Experience: 7+ years in media sales, relationship development, and selling complex enterprise software solutions; driven to exceed revenue targets.
- Complex Navigation: Ability to navigate large, complex organizational structures and build strong relationships at all levels.
- Strategic Acumen: Excellent analytical skills, translating client needs into compelling solutions.
- Exceptional Communication: Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Account Leadership: Manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously, shifting focus as required to advance projects.
Total Target Compensation Range: $ – $ (base salary + variable)
