Sales Representative, Business Development
About the Role
As the primary point of contact for Cars Commerce customers, you will focus on ongoing customer success, retention, growth and the generation of net new business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sell products and services to existing customers and pursue new opportunities.
- Maintain relationships by visiting assigned customers within the sales territory.
- Respond to client inquiries and offer guidance on appropriate products and services.
- Execute sales strategy, identify and close upsell opportunities, and drive new business acquisition.
- Provide insight to customers by preparing reports and key information that communicate value.
- Demonstrate expertise in retention and sales techniques and Cars Commerce products and services.
- Travel at least 75% of the time to visit existing and prospective customers face to face.
This role covers the Minneapolis, MN area and candidates must be residents of the territory.
Qualifications- Excellent planning and solution selling experience.
- Motivated and comfortable working remotely and in the field.
- Ability to conduct in-depth sales presentations with product demonstrations.
- Proven persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Experience in the automotive space or digital marketplace is ideal.
- Excellent communication, presentation and customer relationship building skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Proven ability to identify and close sales opportunities.
- 2-5+ years of relevant sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Consistent quota attainment track record with a desire to win.
- Experience selling advertising or complex SaaS/software solutions to business leaders.
