Job Summary
Software Account Executive (AE) on the Inspection & Real Estate team, sells software to home inspectors. Manage the full sales cycle, generate leads, conduct demos, and close deals in a high‑velocity SMB environment. The role supports small business owners to improve efficiency. Remote, must be based in the Central or Eastern Time zone.
What You Will Do- Connect with potential customers via outbound calls and inbound leads, introduce products and start conversations.
- Understand customer needs, uncover opportunities, ask questions.
- Host live product demos via screen share, tailoring conversations over time.
- Explain product features clearly and thoughtfully, building consultative selling and customer‑focused storytelling skills.
- Develop knowledge of the home inspection industry and build credibility.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services.
- Maintain pipeline activity and deal notes in Salesforce.
- Collaborate closely with teammates across Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Analytics, and Operations.
- Occasionally attend industry conferences or events with teammates.
- Work toward defined sales goals and metrics, receiving coaching and feedback.
- 4+ years of sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with outbound sales or prospecting, preferably with SMB customers.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable learning and quickly adopting new software tools.
- Coachable, curious, and motivated to solve problems for small business owners.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
- Self‑starter with a track record of success in a fast‑paced remote work environment.
Pay Range: $54,000.00 - $75,600.00 annually, plus eligible sales incentives. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage. Optional critical illness, hospital indemnity, and accident plans.
