The Role
You will drive the growth engine by managing a complex B2B sales process and mastering key account management.
Responsibilities include:
- Interact with customers to sell products and provide professional customer service, including after‑sales services.
- Generate leads, deliver solution pitches, negotiate and close deals, and conduct follow‑ups.
- Develop and achieve sales targets.
- Design and execute strategies to drive business into new and existing markets.
- Introduce new business segments and propose innovative growth ideas.
- Lead new projects to increase market penetration.
- Monitor competition by gathering up‑to‑date market information on pricing, products and delivery schedules.
- Recommend changes in products, services and policies based on results and competitive developments.
- Maintain accurate records of all proposals, contracts and client correspondence.
- Engage current customers with updates on new products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or a related field.
- 2–3 years of sales, technical support or business development experience in the food ingredients or flavour industry.
- Direct experience with yeast extract, umami enhancers, savory applications or food additives is a strong plus.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
- High proficiency in English; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is required.
- Self‑driven, proactive and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑oriented environment.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong commercial awareness.
Additional Requirements
- Based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
- Willing to travel regularly within Indonesia (up to 30–40%).
- Strong team player able to work independently.
- Experience working with cross‑cultural teams or Chinese companies is a plus.
