Commercial Vehicle Agency Specialist; Remote
Job Summary
The Commercial Vehicle Agency Specialist is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, appointing, building relationships, and managing agencies in a virtual market to produce profitable sales and growth. The role also includes meeting volume and profit objectives, maintaining and growing relationships between the company and appointed agents, serving as a subject‑matter expert, and providing mentoring and support for special projects.
Key Responsibilities- Serves as an advisor to leadership, providing insights, competitive intelligence and recommendations on agency performance, market dynamics, and strategic opportunities.
- Analyzes sales performance data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth, optimize territory performance, and inform decision‑making.
- Consistently exceeds agreed‑upon new business production, direct written premium, loss ratio goals, and other KPIs on an annual basis by effectively managing the agents of assigned agencies within the virtual market.
- Terminates agents for lack of production, unprofitable results, or other causes.
- Onboards new hires and provides ongoing mentoring and coaching to support their development and performance.
- Consistently exceeds expectations and serves as a role model for the members of the team, while embracing company initiatives.
- Solicits new agencies as appropriate, manages virtual agent relationships, evaluates their potential to write quality new business, and appoints qualified new agencies to ensure profitable growth.
- Recommends agencies to participate in profit‑sharing, rewards, and special incentives programs, and other agency sales initiatives.
- 4‑year bachelor's degree (preferred).
- 3 or more years of experience (preferred).
This position does not have supervisory duties.

Base compensation: $62,000 – $76,000 plus performance‑based incentives.
