Retail Sales Associate; In-Store Sales

Overview

AAA Club Alliance is actively hiring for an experienced full‑time Retail Sales Associate. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service while driving sales success in a dynamic retail environment.

Starting base compensation: $16.37 to $20.93 hourly, adjusted based on experience, location, and other factors as permitted by law.

Employee incentive pay: average payout $162.00 – $389.00 per month.

Mon – Fri: 8AM – 6PM
Sat: 8AM – 5PM
No Sundays. Full‑time associates work a 37.5‑hour week.

Assistants can accrue up to three weeks of paid time off during the first year.

• Consistently up‑sell and cross‑sell AAA products such as new memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.
• Assist members in planning domestic travel vacations, including car rentals, hotels, vacation packages, maps, tour books, and triptiks.
• Answer overflow calls for Roadside Assistance during peak volumes, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
• Serve as backup in cashiering, tag and title, and IDEMIA services when applicable.

• Previous sales and customer‑service experience with a proven ability to drive results.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency navigating multiple websites and programs; strong computer skills.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful pre‑employment and post‑employment screenings (criminal, drug, state/ vendor).
• Ability to obtain any required membership or other licenses needed for essential functions.
