Job Overview
Remote Engagement Pharmaceutical Sales Representative – a fully remote sales position engaged with a top long‑standing biopharma client. The role focuses on promoting assigned product(s) through virtual interactions, meeting sales and program objectives while maximizing product potential in a technology‑enabled environment.
Responsibilities- Manage daily sales call activity and track productivity metrics.
- Promote company products via remote engagements (telephone or video/audio outbound calls) to HCP targets, aiming for individual and territory goals.
- Profile, manage, and expand targeted lists of HCPs while providing value‑added benefits to grow product volume.
- Create and implement business plans to achieve territory and business sales objectives.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of company products and programming while adhering to compliance and ethical standards.
- Document and complete required data entry of call activity in Veeva.
- Listen to and respond appropriately to customer needs and questions.
- Communicate with team members, client partners, and Amplity project support teams as required.
- Create and maintain a positive impression for both the company and its customers.
- Prepare reports for management as needed.
- Fully comply with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, the Code of Conduct, privacy and data guidelines, and state and federal regulations.
- Participate in teleconferences, virtual meetings, and national/trade events; represent the client at conventions when applicable.
- Travel for vacancy coverage, conventions, national meetings, or other business needs, with approximately 15–20% of time as in‑person engagements.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. - Experience:
Desired – B2B, field pharmaceutical sales, remote sales, or medical sales experience. - Technical aptitude:
Proficiency in Zoom, Teams, and other remote engagement platforms. - Willingness to attend in‑person meetings with HCP offices (15–20%) and to work across all time zones.
- Skills:
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; clear, articulate, and professional phone manner. - Strong customer‑focused approach with effective rapport‑building and active listening skills.
- Persuasive selling, closing, and presentation abilities.
- High levels of initiative, effort, and commitment; disciplined self‑management within a team.
- Comprehension and communication of complex technical/medical terminology, including competitive information.
- Organizational, planning, and detail‑orientation skills.
- Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and digital meeting platforms.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel for work‑related meetings.
- Successful completion of all Amplity and client training and certification requirements.
