Position: Trailer Rental Sales Representative (Cox Fleet)
Location: Albertville

Job Overview

Cox Fleet is seeking a Trailer Rental Sales Representative. The role focuses on selling and managing a fleet of trailers and endorsements to new and existing customers within a geographic region.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain sales through preparation of price quotations and proposals.
  • Develop quarterly sales plans by customer to direct and maintain profits.
  • Research and identify revenue and profit opportunities in the market.
  • Provide support to trailer sales, parts, and service by maintaining customer satisfaction and promoting all company offerings.
  • Maintain call reports, customer profiles, and marketing surveys.
  • Advise management on inventory levels to ensure customer requirements.
  • Participate in vendor training and product line training sessions.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, customers, and co‑workers.
  • Develop knowledge of product specifications, features, benefits, and advantages across all product lines.
  • Participate in weekly and annual sales meetings.
  • Achieve CRM expectations through customer and prospecting activities.
  • Oversee and maintain fleet condition; coordinate preventative service and handle breakdowns.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination).
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Ability to travel within the region and work in the office three days a week.

Preferred:

  • Experience in trucking/fleet sales.
  • Full‑cycle direct B2B sales experience with a proven high‑volume track record.
  • Ability to sell service agreements and operate across multiple states.
  • Strong self‑discipline and autonomy managing a large book of business.
  • Computer competency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Process orientation, structured approach, strong verbal and written communication skills.
