Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager, Retail Pharmacy Automation – Central Region will be responsible for business development and sales activity with a focus on independent retail pharmacies across the United States, with an important emphasis on Health Mart franchise pharmacies.
Responsibilities- Achieve and exceed annual territory sales targets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans involving internal Health Mart stakeholders as well as individual and group pharmacy owners.
- Collaborate closely with all departments of McKesson to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Develop strategic relationships within the McKesson and Health Mart organizations.
- Manage sales funnel and sales process outputs, as well as accurately forecast within assigned territory.
- Work closely with Leadership and Product Development to assess market trends, identify needs, and provide input.
- Perform other sales and company activities as directed.
- Travel frequently to support industry events, as well as support internal and external customers.
- Proven track record of sales excellence and relationship building.
- 4‑year college degree or related and equivalent experience.
- 4+ years B2B field sales experience in the pharmacy or experience working in a pharmacy.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- High level verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi‑task with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to travel extensively both domestically and internationally.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Superior presentation skills.
- Experience and understanding of the US healthcare environment, especially within a retail pharmacy environment.
- Experience with is an asset.
Environment: office, warehouse, home office, customer office. Domestic and international travel by ground and air.
Physical requirements:
large percent of time performing computer‑based work. 50–75% travel.
McKesson offers competitive compensation as part of Total Rewards, including base pay plus target incentive. Pay range: $122,800–$204,600 Total Target Cash (TTC). Possible annual bonus or long‑term incentive opportunities may be offered.
