Outside Sales Representative

We are recruiting on behalf of a well established global manufacturer of premium building products that support residential and commercial construction projects. Our client is looking to add a Outside Sales Representative to their British Columbia team.

This is a true field based business development role focused on growing market share, building strong industry relationships, and supporting dealer partners across the territory.

• Build and maintain long term relationships with architects, home builders, roofing contractors, designers, and dealers
• Identify new business opportunities while managing and growing existing accounts
• Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and training sessions with industry professionals
• Provide installation guidance and occasional product servicing support
• Plan and manage a defined sales territory to achieve revenue targets
• Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer seminars
• Track activity and pipeline through CRM reporting tools
• Travel throughout British Columbia, including overnight travel as required

Typical schedule: 4 days in the field, 1 day working from home for planning and follow up.

• Previous outside sales experience, ideally within construction, building materials, or related industries
• Strong business development and relationship management skills
• Confident presenting technical products and solutions to industry professionals
• Highly self motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem solving abilities
• Comfortable working independently in a field based role
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortable working at heights when required
• $65k Base Salary + Bonus + Company Vehicle
