About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will focus on winning new business by building strong relationships and clearly demonstrating product value. You will take a consultative approach to sales, prospecting into defined industry sectors and compliance departments to uncover growth opportunities. Working closely with Account Managers, you will contribute to shared goals and sustainable revenue growth.
Responsibilities- Prospect for new business through a high volume of outbound calls and structured follow‑up within an assigned territory
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers
- Learn, understand, and demonstrate Lexis Nexis world‑class products
- Achieve certification and mastery in product demonstrations
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and KPIs
- Collaborate with Account Managers to deliver on shared objectives
- Experience in lead generation or inside sales roles
- Comfortable managing a high volume of outbound calls (approximately 50–100 per day)
- Strong listening skills with the ability to think quickly and adapt conversations
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
- Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems

Base Pay Range – Home based, Illinois $85,500 - $158,600. Total Target Cash Range: $131,500 - $244,300. Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter. If performed in Chicago, IL, the base pay range is $89,600 - $166,200, the total target cash range is $137,800 - $255,900. Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role;
