Why this role is important to us

The MBS Sales Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the growth of Sim Corp's Managed Business Services offering across the Americas. Reporting to the Global Head of MBS Sales, you will work closely with MBS sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams, as well as the broader sales and client management organization. Your focus will be to enable the MBS Sales Manager for the Americas by supporting opportunity development across the full sales lifecycle — from target identification and meeting preparation to follow-up execution and pipeline progression in line with internal and external best practices.

What You Will Be Responsible For

As part of the MBS Sales team, you will help drive pipeline development and sales execution by:

  • Collaborating with client management, sales, Business Development Representatives (BDRs), and partner teams to ensure effective outreach to target clients and consultants
  • Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities from Sim Corp's existing and prospective client base
  • Coordinating RFI and RFP responses in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Leading preparation for high-impact client meetings, including client research, attendee analysis, and development of compelling pitch materials
  • Managing professional follow-up from client meetings to ensure momentum and opportunity progression
  • Supporting internal governance activities such as pricing, deal approvals, and Salesforce pipeline reporting
  • Coordinating MBS participation in broader Sim Corp promotional activities, including client events, conferences, and entertainment
  • Maintaining high-quality CRM data by enriching, updating, and cleaning Salesforce records (accounts, contacts, and opportunities)
  • Monitoring industry and market developments to identify potential opportunities for MBS
  • Partnering closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure consistent messaging to prospects, clients, and business partners
  • Providing feedback on marketing campaigns based on market and prospect insights
  • Coordinating with Sales Managers in the Market Unit on opportunities which involve MBS
  • Ensuring timely and accurate entry of leads, contacts, interactions, and intelligence in Salesforce
  • Success in the role will be measured primarily by prospect pipeline development in support of new business
What We Value
  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience working in, or supporting, buy-side middle- and back-office processes
  • A foundational understanding of capital markets, investment operations, and portfolio management systems, gained through study or early professional experience
  • Knowledge of Sim Corp or competing investment management solutions (advantageous)
  • Understanding of complex, consultative solution-selling environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Language skills:
    English required;
    French and German are advantageous
  • Learn and effectively apply Sim Corp's selling concepts and methodologies
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Sim Corp, its product portfolio, and the value delivered to clients
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Flexibility to attend Sim Corp office 2x/week as per our hybrid policy
