Job Responsibilities
- Convert company provided leads into sales.
- Maintain a network of customers from company provided leads.
- Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
- Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs.
- Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise post‑sale.
- Use Sales Force or applicable CRM system daily.
- Attend daily/weekly/monthly calls, training, call blocks, floor time in the office or home.
- Report daily, weekly, and monthly sales and appointments to Sales Manager.
- Comply with industry compliance during the entire sales process.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification/license appropriate Funeral Director License in specific states only. - Certification:
Complete PAA Curriculum Certification at Dignity University within first 30 days of employment. - Experience:
2–5 years of business‑to‑consumer, inside home/remote sales experience (preferred but not required); 1–2 years of industry experience; 3–5 years in transferable experience. - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Exceptional level of professionalism; strong telephone, interpersonal, and communication skills; high level of compassion and integrity; strong "one call/visit close " ability; ability to multitask, set priorities and manage appointments; experience with in‑home and/or seminar based sales preferred; proficient computer skills required, with tablet experience preferred; independent, self‑reliant, and self‑motivated; excellent customer service skills; conveys information clearly and concisely in written and spoken communication;
resolves problems and provides solutions to customers in a timely manner; time management and organizational skills; entry‑level Microsoft Office skills; reliable transportation; cellphone ownership.
- Work Indoors and outdoors during all seasons and weather conditions.
- Travel locally to customers’ homes and local businesses; may require climbing stairs.
- Business casual attire required when in contact with customers.
- Physical demands: frequent standing, continuous sitting for many hours per day; manual dexterity required for paperwork, calculators, computers, iPads, and phone usage; move, push, and pull up to 25 lbs.; driving to and from appointments.

varied depending on customer needs.
