Capital Logistics, LLC is a non‑asset based third‑party logistics (3PL) firm founded in 2009, dedicated to delivering superior customer service. Our expertise has fostered relationships with a broad client base, from Fortune 500 companies to emerging startups.

As a Carrier Sales Representative you will work with our existing network of carriers and build a proprietary carrier base to negotiate rates and support our customer portfolio. This role operates in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with daily deadlines.

• Full‑time – Remote – Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST
• All candidates must reside in Eastern or Central time zones;
  Mountain and Pacific time zones will not be considered for hire.

• Source qualified transportation providers and develop relationships
• Make 80+ calls a day to carriers, because opportunity doesn’t come to you – you go find it.
• Research new carriers, generate leads, and develop new carrier relationships
• Build long‑term carrier relationships that turn into your own book of business
• Leverage technology and data to find carrier partners for our freight
• Negotiate, negotiate, negotiate
• Dispatch all booked loads for pickup daily
• Ensure all loads are tracked via Macro Point
• Ensure shipment details are accurately communicated and updated in TMS
• Understand volatility in pricing markets, seasonal trends, and disruptions
• Follow Carrier Sales SOPs daily and communicate with management on any potential issues

• 2 years minimum of freight brokerage experience required
• Experience with Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Straight Trucks/Partials
• Strong negotiation skills
