Transamerica is expanding and looks for FINRA‑licensed advisors to join our team. The Retirement Plan Specialist role is fully remote and offers a 40‑hour work week with a bi‑weekly base salary plus monthly, quarterly, and annual bonuses.
ResponsibilitiesLearn all products in the assigned specialty area, including awareness of competitive offerings and regulations, and provide customers with clear education and guidance around retirement product solutions (account rollover, retirement, annuity, term life, permanent life). Support routine inquiries and make product recommendations. Identify multi‑product needs and connect customers to other specialists. Collaborate with relationship managers and fulfillment analysts to initiate product requests.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent professional experience.
- FINRA Series6,63, and
65 or Series7 and
66 (required for state approval). - Life and Health licenses (required within 60 days of hire).
- Minimum one year experience in the financial services industry.
- Basic knowledge of financial products related to the assigned specialty area.
- Strong customer‑service, interpersonal and listening skills.
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills for recommending product solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities, including phone, email, video, and chat.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- CFP and/or CRPC certification.
- Knowledge of CRM ().
- Experience with digital financial‑advice platforms.
Remote (field/travel). Schedule may vary to meet service‑level requirements during business hours.
CompensationTotal compensation for this role is estimated to be $65,000–$95,000 per year. The base salary ranges from $48,500 to $53,000 annually. A performance‑incentive plan provides sales and/or bonus opportunities.
