• Grow the portfolio of business clients and develop new business opportunities within the Edmonton region.
• Develop and execute business development strategies to increase client base and deepen relationships.
• Propose financial strategies based on the appropriate combination of bank products and services to help clients achieve their business objectives.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of agreements while ensuring compliance with risk‑management standards and profitability criteria.
• Assist the Team Lead of Commercial Banking in achieving team objectives.
• Actively participate in networking activities such as cocktail parties, conferences, and other industry events.
• Work collaboratively with all other bank departments and with specialists in financing solutions to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
• Manage a portfolio of clients covering the Edmonton region.
• Work in a hybrid model, splitting time between the office, client visits, networking events, and remote work.

• At least 5 to 9 years of business‑development experience in the financial industry (Bachelor’s degree + 7years or Master’s degree + 5years).
• Experience in commercial credit and sales.
• Strong network of professional contacts among medium‑sized and large local businesses.
• Fluency in English.
