Field Sales Professional – BSN Sports
BSN SPORTS is hiring a full-time Hybrid Field Sales Professional to serve schools, clubs, YMCA organizations, and other community-based athletic programs in Worthington, OH.
WORK TYPEFull-time Hybrid – must live in the territory and travel 2–5 days per week.
COMPENSATIONThe base salary ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 annually, plus potential performance‑based incentives.
LOCATIONWorthington, OH 43085. The position is a hybrid of home‑office and field‑based work.
WORK HOURSHours may vary based on customer needs; evenings and weekends may be required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTTravel is primarily local to schools and organizations within the territory (2–5+ days per week) with occasional overnight trips beyond the area.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACTThe Field Sales Professional will serve as a consultative partner, driving full‑cycle sales execution—from proactive prospecting and lead generation to account management and post‑sale service—while simplifying operations for coaches.
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Provide consultative customer service to coaches across the assigned territory.
- Generate revenue and meet sales and growth targets.
- Actively develop and qualify leads through cold‑calling and lead‑generation campaigns.
- Demonstrate resilience and turn challenges into opportunities.
- Navigate the company’s CRM for prospecting, account management, and activity tracking.
- Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all sports at all levels.
- Utilize data‑driven intelligence to identify new trends and opportunities.
- Manage your account list and travel to locations within the assigned territory.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Effective time‑management and prioritization skills.
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM.
- Ability to maintain a distraction‑free home office environment.
Education and Experience
- 3+ years of business‑to‑business outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) or a coaching/sports‑related background.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and driving are required.
