This position offers you the opportunity to sell a robust portfolio of products and enjoy the excitement of working on growing and developing accounts throughout Canada. You’ll join a multi‑industry manufacturing leader and play an important role in our mission to provide highly specialized engineered products and innovative technologies. The role is remote with a preferred location within or around Ontario.
Responsibilities- Promote and sell Pneumatic Products’ air purification and filtration equipment to both new and existing customers to achieve assigned sales targets.
- Identify, engage, and call on customers and channel partners across strategic regions and industries throughout Canada.
- Use value selling and consultative techniques to clearly communicate Pneumatic Products’ value proposition and differentiation.
- Create, monitor, and refine lead generation plans to maintain a structured, high‑quality sales opportunity pipeline.
- Qualify opportunities and deliver compelling sales presentations in collaboration with internal teams to win business.
- Manage business‑development pipelines, expand existing customer accounts, and build strong industry relationships across Canada.
- Provide regular sales forecast updates to management, especially when project shifts may impact revenue.
- Maintain consistent face‑to‑face engagement with channel partners and end users, recording data to support sales metrics.
- Supply market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to the commercial management team and inside sales group.
- Uphold ethical business standards while resolving customer issues, maintaining quote records, delivering strong presentations, and occasionally conducting on‑site demonstrations of air dryer technology.
- 5+ years industrial sales experience in the dehydration or filtration industry.
- Experience and understanding of dehydration and/or filtration equipment and sales in any industrial background, primarily oil and gas, food, pharma, etc.
- The ability to understand the needs and challenges of our customer base.
- The ability to succeed in a busy sales environment where you will be on the road working independently.
- The ability to work on multiple tasks and demonstrate experience in developing and leading sales processes.
- The ability to work and build relationships with customers, your manager and other colleagues across multiple and remote sites.
- Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent skills in communication, persuasion, negotiation and influencing.
- The flexibility to meet unique customers/application specific needs and timelines.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business.
- Equivalent industry experience will be considered in lieu of education.
- Must have mechanical aptitude combined with a strong sales background.
- Excellent sales, customer service, and customer relationship building skills.
- Proficient presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to read, analyze and interpret technical design specifications and drawings.
- Must be effective at managing multiple tasks.
- An intensely strong self‑motivation and the ability to work independently in a focused way is a must.
- Excellent PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- This is a remote position with travel throughout all of Canada.
- Preferred location being in or around Ontario.
