Job Summary
Account leadership role responsible for leading the Grid Automation account strategy in all aspects of growth and profitability including customer growth and spending analysis, integrated account planning, opportunity identification, cash & receivables, and value communication.
Responsibilities- Establish trusted advisor relationships with key decision makers at strategic accounts to support sales and commercial activities.
- Develop account plans and execute commercial strategy for sales of Grid Automation product lines including Asset Monitoring & Diagnostics, Protection & Control, Wireless & Fiber Optic Communications, Grib Beats.
- Collaborate with other GE Vernova account managers to ensure a single GE Vernova engagement policy with the customer and partner on joint selling opportunities.
- Provide leadership and support to the Commercial Team for closing large sales opportunities.
- Own accurate forecasting of orders, convertible orders, margins, and sales for customer(s).
- Drive identification, prospecting, creation, and closure of sales opportunities.
- Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing, and competition to product line marketing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of direct sales, account, or team leadership experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical/utility industry sales.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in account management.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
