Job Description
The Automotive Account Executive role is pivotal in driving sales and building relationships with OEM and Agency clients. You will lead the business strategy, define the sales plan, and lead all OEM departmental buying decisions. You will be the clients' trusted consultant who understands their challenges and tailors a suite of solutions to exceed their objectives. You will foster existing relationships, build new ones with senior-level OEM and Agency partners and drive significant impact within the automotive industry.
- Engage with OEM and Agency clients to understand their needs and provide tailored data solutions.
- Generate business plans for each client that outline untapped opportunities, new revenue streams, and partnerships.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that target large enterprise clients, focusing on data solutions that drive results.
- Navigate the complex OEM ecosystem to build relationships with decision-makers across the OEM/Agency landscape.
- Exceed sales goals each year by putting Experian Automotive products and solutions at the forefront of OEM clients.
- Maintain an understanding of trends and developments in the automotive ecosystem and how to best leverage these insights to win more share of data and services budgets at OEM/Agency clients.
- Collaborate with teams to create large-scale sponsor ships and optimize existing products.
- You will report to the Senior Director - OEM Solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of sales experience calling on OEMs and their agencies.
- Experience building relationships and negotiating contracts with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and advertising agencies.
- Experience selling data solutions to large enterprises, managing complex sales cycles and closing high-value deals.
- Experience developing strategic sales plans that align with client objectives and increase revenue.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service.
- Willingness to travel to visit clients for performance reviews, quarterly business reviews, product meetings.
