FARO INSIGHT is looking for a dynamic and results‑driven Account Executive to drive the growth of SaaS digital reality solutions within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. This role focuses on acquiring new logos and expanding relationships within strategic accounts to achieve aggressive growth goals. The position will work out of a home office and ideally be based in the Northeast US.

The total compensation package (salary + variable) can be between $120,000 and $160,000.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify potential clients through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, including product demonstrations, needs assessment, and contract negotiation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their success, satisfaction and retention.
  • Track and manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow‑ups.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and customer feedback.
  • Continuously provide feedback from prospects and customers to the marketing and product teams.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients.
  • Stay current on product knowledge and sales best practices.
  • Manage existing accounts, identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, and collaborate with Customer Success to ensure satisfaction.
  • Present and demonstrate the value of the SaaS platform while positioning a complete solution that addresses customers’ pain points.
Qualifications
  • Background in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and/or sales.
  • Experience selling scanning lasers and capital equipment in the construction market is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and/or an Engineering discipline strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to isolate technical problems, formulate, and demonstrate solutions.
  • Experience with Autodesk Software such as Revit or Navisworks.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
  • Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
