Compensation: $21.33/hr base + overtime + commission (uncapped) - Top performers can earn up to $12,000 per month!
About the Role
Join a high-volume inbound sales team supporting ACA Open Enrollment
. You’ll guide consumers through plan options on the Health Insurance Marketplace, with a focus on $0-premium plans where eligible. All leads are provided and routed based on your active state licenses.
The annual window (typically Nov 1 – Jan 15
) when consumers can enroll in, renew, or change Marketplace health plans.
- Handle high-volume inbound calls from the lead platform; consult, qualify, and enroll consumers in ACA plans.
- Use prepared talking points while tailoring recommendations to each consumer’s needs (benefits, costs, subsidies, network).
- Educate consumers on Marketplace eligibility, plan differences, and required documentation; maintain compliance at all times.
- Complete accurate applications (e.g., via Health Sherpa or Marketplace tools) and perform follow-ups to ensure successful enrollments.
- Document every interaction with detailed notes; track status, SLAs, and required verifications.
- Stay current on Marketplace updates, rate changes, and key benefits; communicate clearly in calls and written follow-ups.
- Collaborate with team leads and QA; support special projects as assigned.
- Required: High School Diploma/GED;
Active Health (and/or Life & Health) Insurance License in at least one U.S. state. - FFM (Marketplace) certification

- 1+ year selling ACA Marketplace policies and/or prior Open Enrollment experience.
- Experience with Health Sherpa or similar enrollment platforms.
- Background in insurance sales, call center, or consumer financial services.
- Strengths:
Confident communicator, quick learner, motivated, comfortable in multiple systems; strong organization and follow-through.
- Sample hours:
Mon 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.;
Tue–Thu 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.;
Fri 9:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. (subject to change).
