Responsibilities
- This is a regional MEA role. The selected candidate may be based in UAE or any MEA location aligned with our entity footprint.
- At least 10 years (15 years is preferred) of experience being a sales professional in the aviation / aviation‑linked industries such as air navigation services providers, air force / air defence entities, airports.
- Experience with meeting sales targets and objectives consistently across years.
- Demonstrable skills with forecasting and realistic sales capture plans.
- Competent under pressure.
- A hunter profile, not shy of travel (50% of the time in periods) and to directly engage with customers and partners to secure and win business for R&S.
- An independent contributor that is able to prepare offers and quotations by self with support and guidance from relevant stakeholders.
- Well networked into customers and partners in the Middle East and the Africa region with a demonstrable and referenceable history of business engagements.
- Demonstrable skills and experience with building and executing via systems integrators, resellers, or even strategic partners.
- Own and execute account / opportunity capture strategies from build to win.
- Competent engineering knowledge across RF and IP‑centric domains.
- Able to work in an agile and dynamic business and work environment collaborating with engineering, project management, after‑sales services, product management, finance, operations, legal and contracts.
- The candidate will have demonstrable skills in presentations, working with data, and structuring commercial offers.
- Participate and represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and highlight R&S with multiple levels of customer and partner leadership.
- Provide feedback based on industry trends and competitive analysis to continue to position R&S appropriately for customers and target markets.
- At least a graduate degree or its equivalent in engineering across Electronics, Electrical, and / or Communications.
- Proficient English communications in written and spoken forms;
Arabic is an excellent plus and other Central European languages will be a bonus. - Demonstrable territory experience in the Middle East / West Asian markets is the first priority followed by experience in Africa.
- A settled resident of the countries of either UAE, KSA, Qatar would be well‑received.
