We are looking for an entrepreneurial and results‑driven Director of Residential HVAC Sales to lead the launch, growth, and long‑term success of our HVAC division throughout Southern California’s Inland Empire territory

Position Summary

The Director of Residential HVAC Sales will serve as the founding sales leader for our HVAC division in Southern California. This is a high‑impact “player‑coach” role where the right individual will initially drive personal sales production while simultaneously building the infrastructure, culture, recruiting strategy, and leadership foundation for a scalable HVAC sales organization.

In the early stages, this leader will launch the in‑home consultations, refining sales processes, and helping establish departmental systems. As the division expands, the Director will transition into a broader leadership role focused on recruiting, training, coaching, managing performance, and scaling a high‑performing sales organization. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who wants to build a department from the ground up while working alongside an experienced executive team with deep expertise in residential home improvement sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the launch and development of Current Home’s Residential HVAC sales division within Southern California
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and manage HVAC sales representatives
  • Build a strong performance culture centered around accountability, customer experience, and professional development
  • Establish sales goals, KPIs, reporting systems, and coaching programs
  • Drive consistent revenue growth through personal production and team leadership
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, recruiting, solar, and roofing departments to ensure seamless execution
  • Analyze sales performance data and identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement
  • Maintain expertise on HVAC products, financing solutions, rebate programs, and industry trends
  • Represent Current Home professionally within the local market and community
  • Conduct in‑home HVAC sales consultations and close company‑provided warm leads
  • Develop and implement scalable sales systems, processes, and performance standards
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of successful residential HVAC sales experience;
    Proven experience leading, building, or scaling residential sales teams
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop top‑performing sales professionals
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building systems and processes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Proven track record of consistently closing high‑ticket residential sales
  • Familiarity with financing programs, energy efficiency incentives, and HVAC system design
  • CRM proficiency and data‑driven sales management experience
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Valid HIS license or ability to obtain one
