Position: Sales Consultant II - New Business Development (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Lead sales initiatives and strategies for new business development in the Mid‑Market space
  • Achieve sales goals and profitable growth for the organization by positioning and selling multiple lines of coverage
  • Develop long‑term relationships with both internal and external constituents
  • Strategize and organize teams of subject matter experts for finalist meetings
  • Continuously communicate with consultant partners regarding new products and relevant updates
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Insurance Industry, or related field, or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
  • Current health and life license for Maryland, DC, and Virginia
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in healthcare or a similar sales position
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet established deadlines for proposals
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar sales position with a competitor or within the health insurance industry
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve for prospects' challenges
