Sales Agronomist and SK

Responsibilities:

• Visit producers on their farms and identify their agricultural needs specific to agronomy and crop production, contributing to increased sales volumes and overall territory market expansion.
• Provide agronomic advice, services and recommendation of crop input products/fertilizers.
• Present ATG product and services to groups and individual growers.
• Schedule appointments, individual grower meetings, trade shows and group meetings.
• Develop opportunities to present ASLE research and on farm data with customers.
• Actively search for new opportunities that will enhance or expand ATG’s market presence and sales in the territory.
• Perform other duties as required.

• A degree in Agriculture and previous experience in crop inputs.
• Minimum of 3 years of applied agronomy/crop input/soil sampling/crop advisory experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of modern farm practices and industry regulations.
• Experience in GIS, farm data platforms and ag technology would be an asset.
• Proven ability to work independently, showing effective time management, planning, and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• The Certified Crop Advisor designation would be considered an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and team‑building skills with a positive attitude.
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
