Role Description

This is a 100% remote work role for an Independent Contractor Travel Agent / Travel Advisor. The Travel Agent will be responsible for making travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, excursions, transfers, package vacation, cruises, and car rentals, and providing exceptional communication and customer service to their clients. Additional duties include handling reservations, sales, and assisting clients with travel-related queries and changes.

This role is ideal for those that desire a flexible schedule, desire to "be their own boss", are motivated self starters with a passion for travel. Prior experience being a travel advisor/travel agent is desired, but not required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in making Reservations and handling Travel Arrangements
• Strong Customer Service skills and experience in providing exceptional client care
• Must be fluent in English (being multi lingual is a plus)
• Sales skills with the ability to plan itineraries, book and sell travel services and packages
• Excellent communication, documentation, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and 100% remotely.
• Previous experience in the travel industry is a plus, but not required.
• You must be a legal US resident, domiciled in the United States, and be legal to work in the US.

Compensation:

• This is a 100% Commission Based Position earning up to 90% commission per booking.
• 1099's will be issued yearly for earned commissions.
• Commissions are paid on the 15th of the month via ACH direct deposit.

Free Lead Generation:

• Our agency provides complimentary sales leads to our ICs who utilize our agency named and branding.
• We have extensive paid marketing campaigns on all major social media platforms, print, and TV commercials as well.

Technology:

• All ICs will have access to our state of the art CRM system to manage invoicing, payment processing, itinerary building, and automated email campaigns.
• A hosted Microsoft Exchange mailbox with multi-daily backups performed will be provided.
• Optional VoIP phone service is available to ICs who wish to be connected to our corporate phone system to make/receive calls from perspective who contact the agency by phone. ICs can also optionally obtain a local business phone number from their local calling area to further enhance access to local clientele.

Training:

• We provide both initial, and ongoing one on one and group training to insure our team members are well versed in all aspects of the travel industry, suppliers, legal compliance, ethics, and customer service standards.

Support:

• We provide background itinerary support, vendor relations, commission tracing free of charge to our ICs.

Mandatory Requirements:

• All ICs will supply and bear their own costs of computers, strong internet connections, E&O insurance, and business phone lines (should they not choose to utilize our VoIP system.
