ResponsibilitiesA day in the life of a Sales Manager:
- Sales Leadership & Hands‑on Approach:
Fully manage, train, and guide sales team members with a hands‑on approach, driving outside sales rep engagement. - Strategic Market Engagement:
Partner with internal stakeholders across Sales Ops, Marketing, and Business Development to drive territory management, target account development, and high‑impact messaging for key markets. - Pipeline & CRM Management:
Oversee the pipeline development process through hands‑on leadership support with the team, ensuring accurate CRM data and completion of tasks. - Deal Intervention & Hands‑on Approach:
Consistently support consultants to conduct deal reviews, intervene in stalled deals, and represent the company at high‑stakes strategy meetings and trade shows. - Strategy & Tool Optimization:
Collaborate with Sales Operations and Presentation teams to ensure all sales tools and reporting reflect a strong ROI and the key strategies necessary to close the deal. - Executive Alignment:
Support executive sales leadership and the executive team strategies by ensuring flawless execution and reporting from your sales team.
- Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional training. - Sales Expertise: 7+ years of combined inside and outside sales experience in digital marketing and automotive industries.
- Leadership Tenure: 5+ years managing B2B sales reps; led a team of 5–10 quota‑carrying representatives and achieved/exceeded quota targets.
- Track Record of Building:
Proven history of successfully leading high‑performing sales teams through key behavioral changes. - Process Discipline:
Must be process‑driven and metrics‑obsessed, comfortable with structured cadences and reading CRM dashboards. - Operating System Fluency:
Proficient with CRM tools like Hub Spot or Salesforce as a manager; familiarity with structured operating cadences such as EOS, MEDDIC, or L10s. - Hands‑On Approach Mindset:
Energy comes from making others better, not from being the top closer; can run deal reviews without taking over the deal. - Accountability & Feedback:
Comfortable holding people accountable, delivering hard feedback, and moving quickly on a bad fit. - Industry Affinity:
Affinity for the auto industry or related experience (dealer technology, digital media) is required. - Mobility & Travel:
Valid driver’s license, clean record, and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including regular travel to Wakefield, MA. - Preferred Experience:
Background in SaaS, digital media, or marketing services sales. - Strategic Communication:
Exceptional written and oral communication skills and ability to navigate diverse communication styles. - Relationship Building:
Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels. - Adaptive
Collaboration:
Team‑oriented mindset with ability to work across departments.
We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications. The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $115,000. The annual on‑target earnings range is $230,000 – $335,000. The final salary will be determined based on skills, knowledge, and demonstrated expertise.
