Job Title: Pro Paint Sales Specialist

Work location: Remote – Territory will cover Indianapolis, IN

As a Field Sales Representative in 3M’s Consumer Business Group Home Improvement Division, you will drive sales and revenue, manage opportunities, and build relationships with end users.

• Drive 3M sales and revenue in assigned distribution territories.
• Manage multiple active sales opportunities at several end‑user sites.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships through deep understanding of customer business models.
• Introduce new products and communicate promotions to relevant customers and prospects.
• Present and reinforce the 3M value proposition to differentiate 3M from competitors.
• Maintain and update a working sales plan with strategies and tactics to achieve annual forecasts.
• Share best practices with the team to promote a positive environment.
• Use company vehicle; subject to vehicle history review.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year of combined experience in Outside Sales/Inside Sales in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Solution selling, listening skills, and ability to gain commitment.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.
• Strong organizational skills and high productivity in field and home office.
• Previous home‑improvement / construction experience preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.

• Travel may include up to 50% domestic.
• Not authorized for relocation assistance.
