About

The Role

Click House is on a mission to grow a vibrant global user community and accelerate our journey as a cloud first company. We’re looking for a Commercial Account Executive to help expand our customer base and shape the future of Click House adoption in the Greater China region. Our ideal candidate brings both business acumen and technical depth, capable of guiding customers with specialized expertise to help them achieve their objectives and unlock the full value of Click House.

What

You’ll Be Doing
  • Identify and nurture opportunities, build pipeline, and close short term Cloud monthly contracts, while simultaneously developing a strategic Commercial business with complex sales cycles.
  • Evangelize Click House’s vision and solutions to secure strategic commercial commitments.
  • Take a solution-based approach to selling, delivering clear business value for customers.
  • Champion the innovation behind Click House Cloud, driving awareness and adoption.
  • Manage customer details, including use cases, timelines, and forecasting, within Salesforce.
  • Deliver accurate monthly business forecasts.
  • Contribute to the Click House ecosystem by engaging in local developer meetups and helping organize Click House specific community events.
What You Bring
  • Proven ability to manage cross functional resources — from dedicated teams to executive staff, to drive successful outcomes.
  • Expertise aligning cloud solutions with customer business needs, challenges, and technical requirements.
  • 5+ of experience in open source software / database; together with a background in cloud and infrastructure software required.
  • Passion for building long-lasting customer relationships and working cross-functionally in a diverse, global team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with strong business and technical acumen.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven record of delivering results in fast moving environments.
  • Experience working effectively in a remote-first, global organization.
  • Prior success selling databases or deploying applications with major cloud providers.
Compensation

For roles based in the United States, the typical starting salary range for this position is listed above. In certain locations, such as the San Francisco Bay Area and the New York City Metro Area, a premium market range may apply, as listed. These salary ranges reflect what we reasonably and in good faith believe to be the minimum and maximum pay for this role at the time of posting.
