This contract telemarketer role is a hybrid position based in Surrey, BC, with a mix of in‑office work and the option to work from home for part of the schedule. The telemarketer will make outbound calls to prospective and existing clients to introduce Padgett Surrey’s services, qualify leads, and schedule appointments for advisors. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include following call scripts, handling inquiries, updating call records and contact information in the CRM, and meeting daily and weekly outreach targets.
The role also involves professionally handling objections, providing clear and accurate information, and ensuring a positive experience on every call. Collaboration with the local team to refine messaging, share feedback from prospects, and support ongoing marketing efforts is expected.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to build rapport, listen actively, and create a positive experience on every call.
- Effective communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional telephone etiquette, and the ability to explain services in simple terms.
- Proficiency in appointment scheduling and managing calendars to book and confirm meetings for advisors accurately and efficiently.
- Sales aptitude, including comfort with outbound calling, handling objections, and guiding conversations toward qualified appointments.
- Previous experience in telemarketing, inside sales, or customer service is an asset.
- Comfort using basic computer tools (e.g., CRM systems, spreadsheets, email) and accurately recording call details.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently in both office and home environments.
- Availability to work scheduled.
