Position: Southeast Regional Sales Director (Remote)

Role Overview

Globe Life is looking for a Southeast Regional Sales Director to develop an assigned territory by raising awareness of Globe Life Benefits in high‑opportunity markets and driving revenue growth through strategic broker partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships with local, regional, and national broker partners to generate new business and grow existing accounts.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including cold calling, appointment setting, RFP responses, product training, and participation in industry events.
  • Create and execute a territory marketing plan in partnership with senior management.
  • Maintain territory management practices to achieve annual new‑business targets of $1.5‑3.5million and meet renewal goals.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time and comply with all regulatory, company, and legal requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Accident & Health license required.
  • Proven sales results with a minimum of five years’ experience in the supplemental health/voluntary benefits industry.
  • Strong broker and distribution partner network.
  • Experience with technology‑as‑a‑service tools in the insurance market (enrollment platforms, benefit administration, communications).
  • Track record of profitable business development and ability to sustain a territory book.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, set goals, manage time, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Customer‑focused sales approach and team‑player mindset when collaborating with operational resources.
Location and Work Arrangement

This position is remote/work‑from‑home. Candidates must reside in the U.S. Southeast region.
