Area Sale Representative

Overview

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Leawood, KS, with opportunities for remote work. As an Area Sales Representative, you will cultivate new client relationships, provide expert consultation on customized benefits packages, and manage the end-to-end sales process. Your responsibilities include prospecting for potential clients, conducting needs analyses, delivering presentations on Colonial Life’s offerings, and partnering with businesses to implement employee benefit solutions.

You will work collaboratively with a team, participate in training sessions, and maintain accurate sales records to meet and exceed performance goals.

• Strong sales, business development, and relationship management skills
• Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
• Proficiency in organizational and time management skills to handle a diverse portfolio of clients
• Knowledge of employee benefits, insurance solutions, or related industries is a plus
• Adaptability to work in a hybrid setting, balancing in-office and remote responsibilities
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and ability to work independently
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits
