Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid Sales and Marketing Representative role based in Frederick, MD, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. The Sales and Marketing Representative will identify and develop new banking relationships through outbound prospecting, networking, and community engagement, while also deepening relationships with existing clients. This role will support and promote deposit, loan, and online banking products, explain features and benefits, and guide customers through the application and onboarding process.

The individual will collaborate with marketing to execute campaigns, support promotional events, and provide feedback on market trends and customer needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining an active sales pipeline, documenting activities in CRM systems, delivering excellent customer service, and meeting established sales and service goals.

Qualifications
  • Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening.
  • Proven Customer Service abilities, with a focus on building trust, resolving issues, and creating positive client experiences.
  • Demonstrated Sales skills, including prospecting, consultative selling, and closing, preferably in financial services or a related field.
  • Experience in Sales & Marketing, including supporting campaigns, outreach initiatives, and community or business development activities.
  • Training skills or experience assisting in educating customers or colleagues on products, processes, or tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities across in-branch and remote work.
  • Comfort using CRM systems, online banking platforms, and common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior banking or financial services experience is a plus, as is familiarity with the Frederick, MD and greater metro DC markets.
