About the Role
The Sales Enablement Specialist (SES) is a critical partner to the Thomson Reuters sales organization. They train sales professionals and strategically partner with key stakeholders on training initiatives to increase the effectiveness of global sales teams. The SES equips sales teams with tools and knowledge to engage customers, drive success, and oversee new hire onboarding and other training initiatives.
Responsibilities- Training and Development:
Design and deliver training programs, including onboarding, ongoing training, and multi‑modal training to enhance sales skills and knowledge.- Deliver multi‑modal training to sales employees.
- Facilitate, coordinate and create training content for new hires and experienced sales employees.
- Develop ongoing training programs to keep teams current on products and competitive developments.
- Manage multiple training initiatives in a single day (e.g., morning onboarding, afternoon skills workshop).
- Strategically partner with business units and stakeholders to meet training needs.
- Resource Management:
Develop and maintain sales enablement materials such as playbooks, presentations, and case studies; keep resources up-to-date and accessible. - Sales Process Optimization:
Partner with sales leadership to identify process improvement areas and implement strategies to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness. - Customer Insights:
Gather and analyze customer feedback and data; provide insights that drive strategy and decision‑making. - Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Work with marketing, product, and other departments to align and integrate sales initiatives. - Performance Metrics:
Develop and track KPIs, provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement. - Technology and Tools:
Evaluate and implement sales enablement tools and technologies to streamline processes and boost productivity.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales, or a related role.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and training skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and sales teams.
- Some curriculum design skills.
- Experience with sales processes and methodologies.
- Experience with CRMs and LMS helpful (e.g., Salesforce).
- Strong understanding of sales processes and strategies.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
- Analytical mindset to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Self‑motivated with strong initiative; able to manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of the U.S. legal and tax industries preferred.
Base pay range for eligible U.S. locations: $74,200 USD – $137,800 USD. Pay is based on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Total reward includes flexible benefits and other wellbeing programs. Annual bonus may be available.
