Job Title

Business Developer CIED

Job Description

We are looking for a high-performing Business Developer CIED to capitalize on our European leadership and significantly expand the adoption of our remote cardiac monitoring platform. Your core mission will be to drive new business acquisition and manage strategic accounts (hospitals and cardiology centers) by positioning our platform as the superior solution for CIED management.

Reporting Structure

Direct Report:
Edouard, Head of Sales Europe – International. Collaboration with Customer Success, Marketing and Product teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development:
    Proactively identify, prospect and acquire new hospital sites and cardiology practices using CIEDs (Pacemakers, ICDs, Loop Recorders) to adopt the Implicity platform.
  • Sales Cycle Management:
    Own and manage the full sales lifecycle, from initial outreach and qualification through clinical and technical presentations, negotiation and contract closure.
  • Market Expertise:
    Articulate the clinical and economic value of our platform to cardiologists, electrophysiologists and hospital administrators.
  • Territory Strategy:
    Develop and execute a comprehensive territory sales plan focused on achieving aggressive quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Internal

    Collaboration:

    Ensure smooth client handoffs to the Customer Success team post‑sale and provide actionable market intelligence to the Product team.
  • Quota Achievement:
    Reach quarterly and annual booking targets (ACV/ARR).
  • Relationship Building:
    Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers within target accounts.
  • Market Analysis:
    Provide accurate sales forecasts and actively monitor competitor activity.
  • CRM Management:
    Ensure meticulous use of Salesforce to document all sales activities and pipeline stages.
Qualifications
  • Senior &

    Experience:

    Proven experience (5+ years) in medical device sales, with track record of exceeding quotas, ideally focused on cardiovascular implants or complex digital health solutions within the hospital setting.
  • Sector

    Experience:

    Direct experience working with electrophysiologists and cardiologists in France/Europe and navigating public and private hospital procurement processes.
  • Education:

    Master’s Degree in Business, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences or a related field.

    Strong hunter mentality with the tenacity needed to open new accounts and close complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.
  • Clinical Credibility:
    Ability to quickly build trust with clinical key opinion leaders by understanding their challenges and speaking credibly about CIED management.
  • Integrity and Compliance:
    Commitment to ethical sales practices and adherence to healthcare compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Autonomy and Organization:
    Highly autonomous, capable of managing a large territory, prioritizing activities and maintaining clean data in the CRM (Salesforce).
Benefits
  • Base salary: 50‑57k per annum, variable component based on experience.

Location and Travel
