As a Security Sales Specialist Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Being accountable for your sales target and overachieving on that sales target.
• Working closely with a Sales Engineer and ensuring their time is used optimally.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience in digital cybersecurity, API Security, API Gateway and Cloud Service Providers.
• Have inside sales/phone selling experience in technology and show evidence of success and progression in role.
• Have experience in channel first sales motions.
• Display history of consistently exceeding individual sales goals and targets.

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US‑based candidates only, the On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from $245,000 – $441,000 per year. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
