Senior Account Manager – Fixed Term (Covering Maternity Leave)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Sales team in New York on a fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave. The role focuses on managing and growing an existing portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring strong client engagement, successful renewals, and continued adoption of WGSN’s services while the current account lead is on leave.
Salary range: $85,000 – $90,000.
Location:
New York office (remote work not offered). Minimum 3 days per week in‑office; ~15% travel required.
- Grow & Nurture Client Relationships: Manage a high‑value book of business across top key accounts, build strong relationships, and secure renewals while expanding across multiple product offerings.
- Own the Sales Cycle: Manage a subscription portfolio, drive product upsell and cross‑sell, qualify prospects, deliver pitches, negotiate contracts, update Salesforce pipeline daily, and close deals.
- Consistently Hit & Exceed Targets: Meet and exceed KPIs in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
- Deliver High‑Impact Presentations: Present WGSN’s value proposition to clients and prospects across key industries (Fashion, Beauty, Food & Drink, Interiors, Sports & Outdoors, Consumer Tech).
- Drive Strategic Partnerships for Revenue Growth: Use a consultative approach to identify growth opportunities and position WGSN as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with the global sales team and supporting roles to uncover cross‑sell opportunities.
- Build senior‑level relationships within client teams.
- Proven Sales Expertise: Minimum 4 years in sales/account management, selling to senior decision‑makers in B2B, preferably Fortune 500.
- Track Record of Success: Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding subscription‑based sales targets.
- Client Relationship Building: Expertise in nurturing executive‑level relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
- Excellent Communication
Skills:
Strong presentation, proposal, and negotiation abilities. - Salesforce CRM
Experience:
Proficient with Salesforce or similar CRM tools, opportunity management, data‑driven strategies. - Results‑Oriented: Thrive in KPI‑driven, fast‑paced settings, managing multiple accounts and priorities.
