Work TypeFull‑time Hybrid – Must live and travel 2‑5 days per week in the territory.
CompensationBase draw range: $50,000‑$60,000 annually plus performance‑based incentives. Salary varies based on education, experience, location, internal equity, and market alignment.
Location DetailsDanville and Richmond, KY.
- Hybrid environment between home office and field‑based positions.
- Territory sales – must reside in/near the location full‑time to manage local client relationships.
Hours may vary based on customer needs. Evenings and weekends may be required.
Travel RequirementPrimarily local to schools and organizations within the territory (2–5+ days a week). Some out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be expected.
How You Will Make An ImpactThe Field Sales Professional will serve as a consultative partner to schools, club select and travel programs, youth leagues, YMCA organizations, and other community‑based athletic programs within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities include full‑cycle sales execution, leveraging CRM tools, data insights and disciplined territory planning to identify growth opportunities, expand multi‑sport penetration and build a strong pipeline of new business.
Responsibilities- Provide best‑in‑class, consultative customer service to coaches across an assigned territory.
- Generate revenue and meet sales/growth targets.
- Actively develop and qualify leads through cold‑calling and lead generation campaigns.
- Handle rejection with resilience and turn challenges into opportunities.
- Navigate the company’s CRM for prospecting, account management, and activity tracking.
- Increase sales in existing accounts across all sports levels.
- Utilize data‑driven business intelligence on prospects to identify trends and opportunities.
- Manage account list and travel on location within the assigned territory.
- High level of self‑direction and autonomy in managing tasks, projects, and responsibilities.
- Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM.
- Maintain a distraction‑free home office environment.
- 3+ years B2B outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) or coaching/sports‑related background.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must have reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record.
Hybrid environment – prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending, lifting and driving will occur on a regular basis.
