Outside Insurance Sales Consultant

Overview

As an Allstate Sales Consultant, you’ll work with prospective and current customers to protect what matters most and build a career with purpose. Your role focuses on driving local sales growth through proactive prospecting, lead generation, networking, and relationship building.

• Prospect and generate leads in your community through networking, referrals, events, and outreach.
• Build genuine relationships and become a trusted resource in the local market.
• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to recommend the right mix of insurance products.
• Identify gaps in existing coverage, providing customized solutions for full protection of customers and their families.
• Represent Allstate at local events such as car shows, open houses, and home expos.
• Develop a personalized marketing plan to increase local visibility and reach.
• Stay current on industry and marketing trends to refine your strategy.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of insurance sales experience.
• Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license (and, if applicable, Life & Health).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and follow‑up skills.
• Passion for relationship‑building, networking, and community engagement.
• Reliable internet connection, transportation for local travel, and availability for full‑time training (9AM–5:30PM CT) for the first three weeks.

• Base salary range: $40,000–$60,000 annually.
• Performance‑based incentives and uncapped commissions; total target compensation $80,000–$120,000/year.
• Annual bonus structure aligned with productivity.
• Licensing fee reimbursement up to $400 per license.
• Connectivity reimbursement stipend for remote workers.
