Job Description
CoStar Group offers the largest and most effective marketplaces to discover, buy and sell rural real estate, connecting active buyers and landowners with the best local real estate professionals and developers across three platforms.
Location and Travel Requirements
This role is home-based, but the candidate must be based in South Houston and close to a major commercial airport to meet clients in person. Travel up to 40% overnight within an assigned geographic territory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a deep expertise in products, pricing, and competitive offerings to clearly differentiate value and win competitive deals.
- Own and execute a territory business plan with clear revenue targets, driving consistent growth from both existing customers and new logo acquisition.
- Build, expand, and leverage strong relationships with our client base through consultative selling.
- Drive customer retention by delivering strong onboarding, training, and ongoing account optimization and servicing meetings.
- Maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline by tracking activity metrics, forecasting monthly revenue, and executing against defined KPIs.
- You become a known and trusted name in your territory.
- You consistently grow your territory and exceed your target through strong relationships and minimize client churn.
- You operate with independence, discipline, and accountability.
- You are comfortable driving the region and meeting clients face-to-face.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers.
- 4+ years of successful sales experience managing a territory preferably in a business-to-business environment.
- A strong record of providing outstanding customer service in prior roles.
- Success in developing new business relationships and managing an existing client base.
- Candidates must possess a current and valid driver’s license.
- Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start. Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CoPilot).
