Position:
Sales Enablement Specialist (SES)

Overview

The Sales Enablement Specialist partners with the Thomson Reuters sales organization to design, develop, and deliver training initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness and customer satisfaction. This role supports new‑hire onboarding, continuous skill development, and strategic alignment of sales enablement resources.

Responsibilities
  • Design, deliver, and manage training programs for new hires and experienced sales professionals across multiple modalities.
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and create training content, ensuring it aligns with company goals and customer needs.
  • Implement multi‑modal training initiatives, delivering onboarding in the morning and workshops in the afternoon as required.
  • Strategically partner with business units and stakeholders to identify and fulfill training needs.
  • Develop and maintain sales enablement materials such as playbooks, presentations, and case studies.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify process improvements and implement strategies that increase efficiency.
  • Gather, analyze, and share customer feedback and data to provide actionable insights to sales teams.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with marketing, product, and other departments to align initiatives.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of enablement initiatives, and provide regular reports and recommendations.
  • Evaluate and implement sales enablement tools and technologies to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales, or a related role.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and training skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and sales teams.
  • Curriculum design experience.
  • Experience with sales processes, methodologies, CRMs, and LMS (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies and how they apply to a complex, global organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Self‑motivated with initiative and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the United States legal and tax industries is preferred.
