LocationPrefer candidates able to go to one of our hub locations (MN, MI, TX); remote US based candidates will also be considered.
OverviewThe Sales Specialist brings deep expertise on specific products or content into ongoing pursuits, ensuring customer needs are met through tailored product configurations.
Responsibilities- Possess a deep understanding of the most relevant customer needs.
- Identify how customer needs can be addressed through different product options and configurations.
- Share knowledge and best practices with the broader Sales team to support pursuits.
- Focus on new logo and incremental sales (upsell/cross‑sell) opportunities.
- Work in a pooled team across accounts within subsegment, collaborating with Sales Executives, Client Executives and Key Account Managers.
- Gather and share best practices across broader Sales teams to support account/territory strategies.
- Grow sales by leveraging specialist knowledge to deliver gross sales, both within existing accounts and new customers.
- Assist in key retention situations as required.
- Provide deep product expertise to drive sales and renewals to close; may be involved in technical demonstrations and requirements gathering.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or a related field.
- Experience building collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to generate pipeline.
- Knowledge of the Legal Content market, products, and trends; familiarity with TR Legal Content Products (Practical Law, Westlaw) helpful.
- Strong prospecting skills.
- Strong operational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to compile campaigns into a strong project plan for execution across multiple business units.
Target total cash compensation range (for eligible US locations) is $150,500 USD – $279,500 USD, based on knowledge, skills and experience. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program.
