Direct Sales Representative – Texas South (Houston)

Location:
Must reside in Texas South (Houston) territory; remote work possible.
Remote type:
Remote – Travel: up to 50%
Pay range: $75,000 – $90,000
Position OverviewResponsible for managing and driving sales growth, sustaining strategic relationships within an assigned territory for OEM, power transmission motors, commercial, industrial, and general purpose motors in the Power Efficiency Solutions segment supporting Leeson and Century brands.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overall account management for motor, controls, and blower customers within the assigned territory.
- Develop and sustain a Territory Sales Plan by account to meet/exceed regional business targets.
- Create and drive execution of new growth opportunities, maintaining an active project deck in CRM.
- Utilize CRM to manage activities supporting customer relationships.
- Support PES Solutions policy deployment and 80/20 initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Lead successful customer contract negotiations and fulfill agreement expectations.
- Present proposals and quotes to customers, ensuring adherence to the pricing strategy as outlined by the PES Business Unit.
- Create and strengthen strategic relationships and business performance metrics at established accounts, positioning Regal as the customers’ preferred supplier.
- Engage and coordinate internal functions to achieve PES goals, providing forecasts and insights to support business planning.
- Participate in product and process training and Business Team Unit strategy/planning sessions as necessary.
- Lead successful execution of internal product simplification or restructuring initiatives.
- Maintain conduct in accordance with Regal Rexnord vision, mission, values, initiatives and company policies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years industry sales experience.
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- High level of personal initiative and ownership of results.
- Strong computer skills – experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams).
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Must reside in the assigned territory.
Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrable track record of strong commercial leadership and achievement of sales goals.
- Experience with CRM and forecasting tools.
- Experience with concepts of 80/20 and Lean Management.
